Stay of Execution

On July 16, 2015, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals issued a stay of execution for Clifton Williams.  Mr. Huggler was appointed to file a clemency petition from the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles.  On July 15, 2015, the Texas Attorney General’s Office notified Mr. Huggler that there were issues with the FBI DNA population statistics.  Based on this information, Mr. Huggler was successful in obtaining a stay from the Court.
